GROW’s annual plant sale returned to Western Technical College this week, drawing a lively crowd eager to support youth gardening programs across the Coulee Region.
Held inside the college’s greenhouse, the event featured a vibrant selection of vegetables, flowering plants, and succulents, with all proceeds funding hands-on garden education for local children.
Bonnie Martin, GROW’s director of communication and outreach, emphasized the organization’s mission to connect youth with nature and healthy food through experiential learning.
“Our goal is to introduce kids to how their food-and flowers-grow, helping them experience the full seed-to-table and garden-to-vase journey,” she said.
The sale was more than just a plant market; families enjoyed interactive activities and seasonal snacks, turning the event into a festive celebration of spring’s blooms and growth.
