As summer approaches, the North Yorkshire Council’s horticultural team is actively tending to a wide variety of plants in the glasshouses at the Harrogate nursery on Nursery Lane.
The nursery offers a range of options for gardeners, from vibrant seasonal bedding plants and delicate trailing blooms to ready-to-go hanging baskets and colorful containers. Since its establishment in 1974, the nursery has been a staple in the community, cultivating displays for public spaces.
Some of the standout plant varieties that can be seen in town centres and parks are available for purchase at the nursery, including those featured in a recent video. Residents also have the option to buy these plants online.
While not a traditional garden centre, the nursery stocks a selection of garden-ready favorites, as well as compost, containers, and other essentials.
