TerraCoal – Biochar Reimagined TerraCoal is a structurally stable biochar that significantly improves substrate mixes in terms of ecology and plant growth. This sustainable raw material boasts a high carbon-binding capacity and acts as a CO₂ sink, contributing to climate-neutral plant production. Additionally, TerraCoal activates soil life, enhances air capacity, and buffers nutrients effectively.
Advanced Substrates – Highest Quality with Renewable Raw Materials Another standout is the peat-reduced and peat-free Advanced substrates. By utilizing alternative substrate raw materials, these formulations reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 80%. The mixtures combine the positive attributes of various raw materials to support crop management through balanced water-holding capacity, optimized air permeability, and excellent root development. TerraCoal will also play a crucial role in these substrates, ensuring high crop performance while harmonizing ecological requirements with professional quality.
Growbag Advanced – The Sustainable Growbag Generation Specifically developed for growing vegetables and strawberries, the Growbag Advanced merges maximum crop performance with environmentally friendly materials. The wood-based GreenFibre mix, produced in Northern Germany, is readily available year-round. This mix promotes robust and healthy root growth, simplifies irrigation control, and significantly reduces emissions. “Our Growbag offers an innovative solution with excellent ecological parameters and high yield security for vegetables and strawberries,” explained Böcking. “Our Growbag concept, based on regional, organic recycled raw materials, is a significant step towards more sustainable horticulture.”
Log & Solve – Innovative Crop Monitoring and Sensor Technology The company is further developing the proven online platform Log & Solve in collaboration with 30MHz. This web-based tool enables precise digital crop monitoring, allowing growers to control crop success more accurately based on measurement data. The system is particularly beneficial for adjusting fertilization and irrigation when using peat-reduced substrates. 30MHz also offers complementary sensor systems that can be integrated with Log & Solve.
Growcoon – Now with a New Dispenser for Easy Handling The well-established Growcoon system for young plant cultivation is being expanded with new dispensers. In partnership with Maan Horti Automation from the Netherlands, both automatic and manual dispensers have been developed. These innovations simplify the use of Growcoon in the cultivation process and enhance efficiency. The 100% biodegradable Growcoon is an effective solution for healthy roots, faster plant development, and shorter cultivation times.
The product range is rounded out by the Nygaia substrate fiber, which is also biodegradable. This new polymer-based growing medium is an ideal solution for high-tech applications in hydroponic cultivation.
