Holex Flower is making a significant move towards sustainability by fully adopting the FECT Eco Flowerbox packaging solution for its Danish customers, following a successful pilot program.
The FECT Eco Flowerbox, developed by Circular Plastics, is an innovative packaging solution made entirely from 100% recycled plastic. It is specifically designed to be compatible with Danish trolleys and functions as a reusable container. The flowerbox is delivered to customers filled with flowers and is then collected and cleaned after use, allowing it to be reused multiple times.
The logistics pooling and management of the FECT Eco Flowerboxes are efficiently handled by HBRTS. Their central role ensures that the boxes are collected, cleaned, and redistributed in a timely manner, making the system both reliable and scalable. This approach creates a sustainable closed-loop system that eliminates the need for single-use cardboard packaging.
Hassan Afkir of Holex Flower and Jaap Buis of Circular Plastics were both present to showcase the FECT Eco Flowerbox. By introducing these circular flower boxes, Holex Flower is taking a significant step towards achieving its future sustainability goals.
