From June 10 to 13, 2025, the horticultural industry will converge on FlowerTrials® 2025, an event dedicated to the latest innovations in potted and bedding plants. One of the key participants, Royal Van Zanten, will open its facilities to professionals, promising a vibrant display of floral creativity and cutting-edge developments.

Royal Van Zanten’s site at Rijshornstraat 205 in Rijsenhout will be a hub of activity, featuring a colorful showcase of new plant varieties and innovative cultivation techniques. Visitors can expect to see a range of highlights, including:
The Colorita series of pot alstroemerias, known for their vibrant colors and hardiness.
The world’s only bi-colored, double-flowered potted chrysanthemum series, Artistic Jeff, which is set to be a standout attraction.
Innovations in Aster, Lavender, Celosia, and garden chrysanthemums, demonstrating the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of horticultural design.
Cut Chrysanthemum Flowering Trial
In addition to the main event, Royal Van Zanten will host a cut chrysanthemum flowering trial at its Lavendelweg 15 location in Rijsenhout. This trial will feature show greenhouses filled with Alstroemeria, Statice, and Limonium, all in full bloom. This display is designed to highlight the company’s breeding efforts and provide visitors with a comprehensive experience of Royal Van Zanten’s offerings in cut flowers.

Royal Van Zanten will be open to visitors during FlowerTrials 2025 at both the Rijshornstraat 205 and Lavendelweg 15 locations. The Rijshornstraat site will be shared with fellow breeders Morel Diffusion (specializing in cyclamen), Lazzeri (focusing on vegetatively propagated ornamental plants), and Graff Breeding (a leading supplier of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis).
